Green Cleaning Tips: Homemade Drain Cleaner

So many people are involved in Going Green theses days. Most of us know that Going Green and working to preserve the environment involves every aspect of our lives, including clogged drains. Fortunately there are a couple effective green cleaning ways to unclog your drains, without using the frightening chemicals.
Step 1
Add 1/2 cup baking soda to a bucket.
Step 2
Add 1 cup white vinegar.
Step 3
Add 1-gallon boiling water.
Step 4
Add 1/2 lemon.
Method
Pour baking soda down drain/disposal, followed by vinegar. Allow the mixture to foam for several minutes before flushing the drain with boiling water.
Helpful Hint
For slow drains, use this drain cleaner once a week to keep drains fresh and clog-free.
CAUTION... Vinegar is an irritant to skin, eyes, nose and throat. Avoid direct contact with skin, eyes and clothing
